Reaccreditation with Platinum Status for Excellence in End-of-Life Care

Linden Lodge Nursing Home is proud to announce its reaccreditation with Platinum status by the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) in August 2025, reaffirming its position as a national leader in high-quality end-of-life care.

The Platinum Award is the highest level of recognition offered by the GSF and is reserved for care homes that demonstrate sustained excellence in delivering compassionate, person-centred care to residents approaching the end of life.

Linden Lodge first achieved Platinum status in 2018 and has continued to uphold and exceed the rigorous standards required for this prestigious accreditation.

“This recertification is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and empathy of our entire team,” said Debbie Leyland (General Manager)

“We are deeply committed to ensuring every resident receives care that honours their dignity, choices, and comfort.”

Why Platinum Status Matters

The GSF Platinum Award reflects:

  • A long-standing commitment to best practices in palliative care
  • Personalised care planning that respects individual wishes
  • Ongoing staff training and development
  • Seamless collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • A culture of respect, empathy, and excellence

Recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), GSF accreditation is a benchmark for outstanding care and supports homes in delivering the right care, at the right time, in the right place.

Linden Lodge Nursing Home continues to set the standard for compassionate care, ensuring that residents and their families feel supported, respected, and valued during life’s most sensitive moments.
